About the Beach
Palolem Beach is South Goa's crown jewel — a perfect crescent-shaped bay flanked by rocky headlands and lined with coconut palms. The sheltered bay creates calm, warm waters that are among the safest for swimming in Goa. The beach is famous for its unique 'silent noise' parties where revelers dance with wireless headphones after 10 PM (Goa's noise curfew). Kayaking trips to the secluded Butterfly Beach and Honeymoon Beach are hugely popular. The beach has a well-developed infrastructure of beach huts, shacks, restaurants, and bars while maintaining a more relaxed vibe than North Goa beaches.
