About the Beach
Paradise Beach (also known as Full Moon Beach) is the most remote and unspoiled beach in the Gokarna circuit. Accessible only by a 30-minute trek from Half Moon Beach or by boat from Om Beach, it offers a truly off-the-grid experience. The beach is a narrow strip of golden sand flanked by rocky cliffs and dense forest. During peak season, a handful of shacks serve basic meals. The beach is popular with backpackers who camp overnight and watch the moonrise over the Arabian Sea. The trek to Paradise Beach passes through beautiful coastal forest and offers glimpses of dolphins in the waters below.
