Agara Lake
Agara Lake is a 98-acre rejuvenated lake at the junction of HSR Layout and Koramangala that has become South Bangalore's most popular fitness destination. The lake features a well-paved 4 km cycling and jogging loop with dedicated lanes, outdoor fitness stations with pull-up bars and equipment, and landscaped rest areas with benches. The open-air fitness park adjacent to the lake attracts hundreds of fitness enthusiasts daily. Sunrise and sunset are particularly stunning, with the water reflecting the sky's colours against the backdrop of the city skyline. The lake was restored by BBMP and BDA with community support, transforming it from a neglected water body to a model urban lake. It's especially busy on weekends when cycling groups, runners' clubs, and yoga practitioners converge.
