About the Waterfall
Mallalli Falls is arguably the most visually impressive waterfall in Coorg, formed by the Kumaradhara River as it descends from the Pushpagiri hills. Dropping over 200 feet in multiple stages, the fall creates a massive misty spray visible from the viewpoint. Reaching the base involves a strenuous descent of roughly 600 concrete steps. While the trek down offers breathtaking vistas, the ascent is physically demanding. Less commercialized than Abbey Falls, offering a raw nature experience, though safety fencing has been installed recently.
